Plea deal rejected
The State offered a plea deal however, it was more than the minimum so we rejected the offer. A plea deal is an agreement between the prosecutor and defendant. In return for some concession from the prosecutor, the defendant will plead guilty to the charges.Since I have defended numerous DUI cases in Phoenix I was able to compile statistics based on my other DUI cases that involved a high BAC. The statistics that I compiled proved to the prosecutor the plea offer was not fair. They resubmitted an offer to my client similar to what my previous clients have received under similar circumstances.
