Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Failure to Obey an Officer (Phoenix) - Dismissed at Trial

This case was two years old. Police suspected my client of backing into another vehicle, not obeying their command to stop and then fled the scene. Police ran the plate of the suspected vehicle, saw my client's MVD photo, and claimed he was the driver. However, at trial I brought in the real driver. The police officer, after two years, pointed to the real driver and said that is him. Not only did I have a motion to dismiss filed and ready to go for prosecutorial delay of this case, but the State just dismissed the case and did not try to move forward. Great day for my client.

If you have been arrested for leaving the scene of an accident or failure to obey a police officer in Phoenix give me a call. We may have something to fight.
