Client is a professional hunter. A Domestic Violence (DV) offense would have prohibited him from ever owing a gun. We had to fight the case. The prosecutor did not offer diversion. We continued to fight the Domestic Violence case and we were ready to trial. Prior to trial a deviation packet was submitted. The State agreed to drop the Domestic Violence (DV) allegation. My client pleaded to a simple disorderly conduct for being "loud." He was able to keep his gun rights, keep his profession, and continue to enjoy his passion of hunting.
