Arizona DUI over Labor Day Weekend

According to azcentral.com there have been over 400 DUI arrests over the Labor Day weekend in Arizona. 40 of the arrests were for Aggravated DUI where, if convicted, a person is facing a minimum of four months in prison and a felony on their record.

The average BAC is up this year from a .149 last year to a .155 this year. This change means a lot. A .155 is an extreme DUI in Arizona.   • Minimum Jail - 30 days jail

  • Maximum Jail – 6 months

Aggravated Driving Under the Influence “Kid in Car” (Younger than 15) Class 6 Felony

  • Minimum Jail - 10 days jail, but 9 may be suspended

  • Maximum Jail - 2 years in prison. Maximum jail time can be higher if you have prior felony convictions

  • Fines, license revocation, probation, and felony on your record
