Assault Domestic Violence (Phoenix) - Dismissed on the Day of Trial 1/12/2017

Back to all DUI & Criminal Defense Case Results

Client was charged with beating up his girlfriend in a Phoenix park. The alleged incident was witnessed by high school students who called the police. My client was eventually tracked down and arrested. We set this case to trial because there was never a fight and my client was trying to stop his drunk girlfriend from driving drunk. We set the case to trial and it was dismissed.

My client was offered a plea where he would have to admitted he assaulted his girlfriend and that it was a domestic violence offense. The City of Phoenix Prosecutor wanted him to plea to 6 months. This is the max you could get under state law. We said no, and he ended up walking with no conviction and no jail.

If you have been arrested for domestic violence assault in Phoenix give me, Aaron Black, a call. Let's discuss your case. 480-729-1683.
