Client was charged with Assault, Disorderly Conduct and Threatening in Maricopa, Arizona. The case was originally charged as a felony in Pinal County, Arizona as Terroristic Threats. My client hired me right away and I was able to convince the felony prosecutor to turn down charges and submit the felony as a misdemeanor. The Maricopa City prosecutor charged the case as a misdemeanor and I was able to convince the prosecutor to offer diversion. My client completed 10 hours of community service, and what was originally a felony was dismissed. (On a side not, I also got this client's DUI dismissed in Phoenix 2 years prior).
